18th Screen Actors Guild Awards
The 18th ceremony of the U.S. Screen Actors Guild Awards, awarded by the Screen Actors Guild every year in film ( 7 categories ) and television ( 9 categories), was held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on January 29, 2012. The so-called SAG Awards honor, in contrast for example to the Golden Globe Award, a film, television and ensemble actor and considered as an indicator for the upcoming Academy Awards. Be crowned the winners of the members of the Screen Actors Guild, which you must be a member to work in the U.S. as an actor.
The nominees were announced by the actresses Judy Greer and Regina King on 14 December 2011 at Los Angeles ' Pacific Design Center 's Silver Screen Theater.
For her life's work, the American actress Mary Tyler Moore was honored.
