12th Screen Actors Guild Awards

The 12th ceremony of the U.S. Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2006, the Screen Actors Guild each year in the fields of film ( 5 categories ) and television ( 8 categories ) awards, held on 29 January 2006 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. The so-called " SAG Awards", in contrast to the Golden Globe, a film, television, and ensemble actor and considered as an indicator for the upcoming Academy Awards. Be crowned the winners of the members of the Screen Actors Guild, which you must be a member to work in the U.S. as an actor.

Favorites at the awards ceremony in 2006 were ahead Ang Lee's film Brokeback Mountain ( 4 nominations ), the television series Boston Legal and the TV two-parter Empire Falls ( each 4 nominations ), and the American actress Felicity Huffman for their work on Duncan Tucker's Independent Film Transamerica and the television series Desperate Housewives three nominations received. The American actress Shirley Temple was honored for her life's work.
