1st Screen Actors Guild Awards
The first ceremony of the U.S. Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Screen Actors Guild each year in the fields of film (4 categories) and television awards (8 categories), was held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on February 25, 1995. The so-called SAG Awards honor, in contrast for example to the Golden Globe, a film, television and ensemble actor and considered as an indicator for the upcoming Academy Awards.
