Jeff Garlin

Jeff Garlin ( born June 5, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actor, screenwriter and director who is mainly due to the role of Jeff Greene on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm! was known.

Life and career

Jeff Garlin was born in Chicago to Jewish parents. After high school, he attended the University of Miami, which he later but broke off. Then he tried his hand as a comedian on stage.

As an actor had Garlin appearances on numerous television series such as Arrested Development, Everybody Loves Raymond, Entourage and the Late Show with David Letterman. Well-known films in which he starred are Daddy with Eddie Murphy, After the Sunset, Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me and Full Frontal Julia Roberts and David Duchovny.

2006 had his first own film called I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With ( in which he directed and wrote the screenplay ) premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. In this film, the actresses Sarah Silverman and Bonnie Hunt played with.

In the same year he directed the documentation This Filthy World, in which the director John Waters is the central figure. In the animated film Wall-E, he borrowed the figure of Captain B. McCrea his voice.

2008 Garlin was in the comedies The Rocker - see full of (S ) hit, Strange Wilderness in supporting roles. In 2010, he lent a character in Toy Story 3 his voice. In the same year he also published a book called My Footprint: Carrying the Weight of the World.
