Patrick J. Adams

Patrick John Adams ( born August 27, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian actor who lives in Los Angeles. He is best known for his starring role as " Mike Ross " in the legal drama Suits.

Private

To study the dramatic arts at the USC School of Theatre drew Adams from Toronto to Los Angeles. In 2004, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts. It is known from the television series Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario in a relationship. In mid-February 2014, got engaged the two.

Career

Adams played and plays in several plays with, he made his professional stage debut in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? at the Mark Taper Forum. In addition, he produced and led the director of the remake of the play Marat / Sade, for which he received the LA Weekly Theatre Award for Best Production.

Adam's first appearance in a television series was in Jack & Bobby, 2004. It was followed by several appearances in other television series. He had his first recurring guest roles 2006/2007 in the television series Friday Night Lights and in the television series Welcome, Mrs. President. In 2008, he starred in the ABC pilot Good Behavior a dual role as twins Van and Haden West, the series was not commissioned. His breakthrough was in 2011 with Adams Suits, a legal drama of the cable channel USA Network, which is filmed in his hometown of Toronto. In Suits Adams plays the protagonist Mike Ross, who has a photographic memory and works as a lawyer in a law firm, though he does not have a law degree. For the role of Adam 2012 was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. The series has since been renewed for a fourth season. 2012 Adams was also seen in four episodes of the short-lived HBO series Luck as Nathan Israel.
