Suits (English suits, . Ugs about wearing suits, also Engl (law) suits for claims, litigation ) is an American legal drama starring Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht in the lead roles. The first broadcast took place on June 23, 2011 the U.S. cable channel USA Network and the German -speaking Original Air Date on January 7, 2013 in FOX.
Action
Mike Ross is a gifted high school dropouts. His childhood dream of becoming a lawyer, was destroyed by expulsion from school, which he received after he was caught a math exam to the daughter of the dean to sell. In the second season, the second founding partner of the firm, Daniel Hardman returns, although Harvey is trying to prevent that. Hardman creates a conflict among the partners, which leads to fear for Jessica and Harvey that this could convene a vote against Jessica, so he can return as a managing partner in his old position. However, his plan of Mike and Harvey is crossed, so he is banished from the partners back out of the company. Pearson Hardman comes from this power struggle weakened out what other firms, especially who want to take advantage of Rachel's father, Robert Zane. And Hardman tries to harm his old company.
Production
Suits was developed during the writers' strike in 2007 by Aaron Korsh. The series was originally supposed to have a half-hour format and play on Wall Street, had worked at the Korsh several years, but was then transferred to the lawyer world. In the development phase in April 2010, the series was known under the title A Legal Mind. In May 2010, the station ordered a pilot episode of the series. The main role of Mike Ross was occupied in July 2010 with Patrick J. Adams. In late July followed Gabriel Harvey Specter as power. Rick Hoffman got in mid-August. Meghan Markle and Gina Torres met in late August to the main cast. Sarah Rafferty completed the main cast. The pilot episode was filmed in the fall of 2010 in New York City.
On 19 January 2011 USA Network ordered a first season with twelve episodes. The first season was filmed between 25th April 2011 and August 12, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario. With the end of the first season, the previous showrunner Sean Jablonski by Aaron Korsh, the creator of the series, replaced. Jablonski was in the first season showrunner because Korsh had no previous production experience.
The series was renewed on 11 August 2011 for another season of 16 episodes. In October 2012, the station Suits extended to a third season, also with 16 episodes. On October 24, 2013 USA Network announced an extension to a fourth season with 16 episodes.
On the cable channel USA Network series is measured at the audience one of the most successful formats. In the first season the series had an average of 6.31 million viewers, of which 2.95 million in the main target group. The second season had in 2012 an average range of 6 million viewers with 2.66 million in the main target group. In the third season off an average of 5.28 million viewers, of which 2.31 million in the main target group.
Instrumentation and synchronization
The television series is synchronized in Berlin by the Interopa film. The dialog book writes Sven Hasper, who also takes over the dialogue director.

The first broadcast in the United States took place on June 23, 2011 on cable channel USA Network with an approximately 77 -minute pilot episode. The twelve-part first season were shown up to the August 8, 2011, respectively, following Burn Notice. An average of 6.31 million viewers watched the first season.
Since the second season of Suits will be sent in two parts. During the first ten episodes of 14 June to 23 August 2012 were originally aired in turn with Burn Notice as a lead - in, followed by the remaining six episodes of 17 January to 21 February 2013, after several repetitions.
