Rick Hoffman
Rick Hoffman ( born June 12, 1970 in New York City, New York ) is an American actor, who has worked as such since the mid- 1990s and has appeared in over sixty productions. Hoffman is known for his starring role as Louis Litt in the legal drama Suits.
Life
Rick Hoffman was born in New York, the son of Charlie and Gail Hoffman and grew up in Roslyn Heights, on Long Iceland in the U.S. state of New York. He attended The Wheatley School and studied at the John Strasberg School of Acting and the University of Arizona spectacle. After graduating, he went for his acting career some time to Los Angeles, where he worked as a waiter until he received his first starring role as Freddie Sacker on the television series The Street after several supporting roles in 2000. It went on to star in the ABC television series Philly and Jake in Progress, further supporting roles as well as some recurring guest roles. The largest guest roles of these were from 2002 to 2005 in ten episodes of the sitcom Bernie Mac Show as Jerry Best and 2007-2009 in nine episodes of the TV series Samantha Who? As a former boss Samantha. 2010 Got Hoffman in the legal drama Suits a major role as Louis Litt. Meanwhile, the third season of the series, which is filmed in Toronto, aired. Besides working in television series, Hoffman also played supporting roles in several films, such as in The Day After Tomorrow, hostel and Battleship.
