Gabriel Macht

Gabriel Macht ( born January 22, 1972 in New York City, New York) is an American actor who is best known for his starring role as Harvey Specter in the legal drama Suits and his starring role as The Spirit in the eponymous comic book adaptation.

Life

Gabriel Macht was born in 1972 in the Bronx, New York, the son of actor Stephen Macht and Suzanne Puliers, a museum curator. He grew up in Westchester County, New York. With five years drew power as part of his six-member family for professional reasons of the father to California. Even as a eight year old child had power in 1980 his feature film debut in Why should I lie?. For his performance he was nominated for a Young Artist Award. By 1990, visited power to the Beverly Hills High School, where he took drama classes. Then went power to the College of Fine Arts in Pittsburgh. He then lived for six years in New York, where he mainly worked in theater before he moved back to Los Angeles.

After the first film, television and theater roles, he played a major role in 2000 in the short-lived science fiction television series The Others by NBC. This was followed by roles in movies like Behind Enemy Lines - Alone against all, The use and The Good Shepherd. Together with the ensemble cast of The Good Shepherd won power in 2007 at the International Berlin Film Festival Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution.

2008 power was known by the title role in Frank Miller's comic book adaptation The Spirit of a large audience. Since 2011, power is in Suits, a legal drama of the cable channel USA Network to see in the lead role as Harvey Specter. The series has since been renewed for a fourth season.

Since 2004 he has been married to actress Jacinda Barrett. With her he has a daughter (* 2007) and a son (* 2014).
