Hot Chip
Hot Chip is a band founded in 2000 in London. The band mixes electronic dance music with elements of independent music. They are the independent label Domino Records.
History
In 2008, the album Made in the Dark was released. The single Ready for the Floor reached No. 6 of the UK singles charts and # 22 in Ireland.
Compared with other DFA Records artists Hot Chip put on a relatively relaxed and jazzy electronic music without explicit punk and techno elements.
