Hot Springs State Park

The Hot Springs State Park is adjacent to the northwest of Thermopolis in Hot Springs County of the U.S. state of Wyoming. The height difference within the state park is located between 1458 m and 1320 m at T Hill.

The mineral hot springs in the park, a bed of 300 hectoliters a day. A portion of a constant 53 ° C hot water is passed to cool in tanks before it is used by 40 ° C from the adjacent bathing for therapeutic purposes. The other part flows over travertine in the Bighorn River, which crosses the park from south to north. A suspension bridge for pedestrians, called The Swinging Bridge connects the two banks together with a 10 kilometer extensive barrier-free trails.

The park also includes a bison herd with 24-27 adult animals and between 10-15 calves.
