The Turin Royal Canon, a ruler named Sehotep - ib- Re appears in row and row 6:12. This is perhaps a prescription of Hotep - ib- re of Ancient Egyptian writer. Hotep - ib- Re was the proper name Qemausahornedjherjotef, or other reading Hornedjherjotefsaqemau.

From this ruler a statue and a temple block are known. As a ruler with the same throne name ( Sehotep - ib- Re) in the Turin King List, also under 6.8. appears, the exact classification of this Pharaoh is not sure.
