How to Make It in America
How to Make It in America is an American comedy - drama that on 14 February 2010 had its Original Air Date on the U.S. cable channel HBO. The series follows the life of the main character Ben Epstein ( Bryan Greenberg) and his friend Cam Calderon ( Victor Rasuk ) in their efforts to gain a foothold in New York's fashion scene.
Action
The series follows the lives of two men trying to find their way into the New York fashion scene in order to fulfill their own personal American Dream. In their quest to make a name for himself in the competitive scene, Ben Epstein and help his business partner Cam Calderon primarily their " street wisdom " and their relationships. With the help of her pals Domingo, who has many relationships and Cam 's cousin Rene, a convicted and shady character from the road environment, the dream seems within reach and from day to come closer to day.

The German synchronization was created under the dialogue directed by Dieter B. Gerlach by the synchronous Company EuroSync GmbH in Berlin.
Production
The series was first broadcast by U.S. television network HBO in the Season 2009/2010 on February 14, 2010. For the first season of eight episodes were ordered. On 21 April 2010, a second season was ordered, also with eight episodes. The charisma of this second season began on 2 October and ended on 20 November 2011. How HBO announced in December 2011, there will be no third season.
The German Original of the first season was sent by 9 January to 27 February 2013, the pay-TV channel Sky Atlantic HD. The second season was shown directly after March 6 to April 24, 2013.
