Hrant Bagratyan

Hrant Bagratjan (Armenian Հրանտ Բագրատյան; born October 18, 1958 in Yerevan ) is an Armenian politician, educator and scientist.

Biography

Bagratjan visited 1965-1975 high school in Yerevan. Subsequently, he studied until 1979 at the city's University of Economics, where he completed a postgraduate course 1982-1985. In between, he served from 1979 to 1981 in the Soviet Army.

In 1990, he became the first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Armenia. He held this office until he became Prime Minister in 1993 and remained until 1996. From 1998 to 2006 he was Vice President and Director of Personnel and procurement of the Yerevan Brandy Company. Since 2006 Bagratjan head of the party " Asatutjun " is ( German: Freedom ).

Bagratjan holds a PhD in Economics and Philosophy and is the author of 61 scientific articles and nine books.
