Hualpén

Hualpén is a town in the South American Andean country Chile and is located in the agglomeration of the Provincia de Concepción Concepción the Región del Bío -Bío.

The municipality was created as a spin- off Talcahuano 2004. The area is 53.50 km ², the population is 88 046. There is an oil refinery in the Empresa Nacional del Petróleo ( ENAP ).
