Hubert Auer

Hubert Auer (born 19 December 1981) is an Austrian football goalkeeper who is currently goalkeeping coach at SV Ried.

Career

Auer began his career at the BSV Juniors Villach, from there he moved on to FC Kärnten and FC Lustenau 07 for SV Ried. His Bundesliga debut of goalkeeper Thomas Gebauer, on 5 May 2010 in the 1-3 defeat against SV Mattersburg. On the end of the season 2010/11 he was with the Austrian Cup winner SV Ried.

After his contract was not renewed at Ried, Auer was without a club after the Cup victory. He was committed on September 19, 2011 by SV Grödig because the Salzburger much needed replacement after a severe injury of goalkeeper Georg Blatnik. After Auer was able to record only two league inserts for himself, he did not renew his contract and instead was goalkeeping coach at SV Ried.
