Association

Wieser played at the Junior FC Triesen. He moved in November 2003 to FC Vaduz and in 2006 the young of FC Basel, playing for the U -18 and U-21 team. With the U-18, he was Swiss champion in the 2008 /09 season.

As of February 3, 2011, he was in the 1st team squad of FC Basel in the top division in Switzerland, Axpo Super League. His debut in an official match he was 20 March 2011 in a 2-1 away win against Grasshopper Club Zurich. End of season 2010/11 Wieser was Swiss champion with FC Basel.

During the winter break of 2011/12 Wieser moved to German Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim after he had been a year earlier stood before a change to TSG Hoffenheim. He signed a contract until 2016 and there is the first Liechtenstein players in the Bundesliga.
