The Hugo show was in the 1990s one of the first television series that was produced with a reactive real-time character and a real performer. Most took female facilitators to techno -type music phone answer calls and sent the caller to ever-changing games where Hugo played a major role. In the games it came to push of a button on the phone, for example, to skip objects to finish the race and be able to save Hugo's family at the end. This was taken earlier captured by the witch Scylla.

To participate in a key telephone was a condition with tone dialing. Hugo himself was a cartoon character, which was a troll. The decoration was fully charged up on some furniture for the real actors in computer and einmontiert using blue screen technology into the picture.

Presentation

The show first ran in the " cable channel ", which in 1994 was renamed " Cable 1 ". In addition, there were at irregular intervals, " The Hugo - Mobil", in which the outer reporters, including Guido Kellermann, reported by various events where spectators had the opportunity to play " Hugo " live.

Less than half a year later, on 4 May 1998, the Nickelodeon Germany the little troll briefly reanimated and showed his own show " Hugo Nick Live Club ", which was, however, set a month later, together with the transmitter. Since then Hugo has not been shown on German television.
