Hugo Valente

Hugo Valente ( born June 17, 1992, Choisy- le- Roi ) is a French racing driver.

Career

Valente began his motorsport career in karting in 2006, where he was active until 2007. 2008 Valente moved to Formula racing in the Formul'Academy Euro Series. With a win, he ended his debut season in eighth place. 2009 started Valente for SG Formula in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. While Jean- Éric Vergne, one of his teammates, took second place, Valente was with an eighth place as best result 24th in the driver standings. In addition, he performed for SG Formula in the Western European Formula Renault. With a fifth place as the best result, he finished the season starting in eleventh place overall, while his teammate Vergne also was second overall. In addition, he also took part in kart racing. 2010 Valente moved to Tech 1 Racing, and remained in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Valente scored a second place as best result and was twelfth in the championship. His teammates Arthur Pic and Aaro Vainio occupied positions three and four. In addition, Valente took part in a race weekend of the British Formula Renault.

After Valente 2011 was returned to karting, changed Valente 2012 in touring car racing. For Clairet sport he started in French SEAT Leon Supercopa. He won three races and was behind his teammate Jimmy Antunes with 268 to 270 points, second overall. Then Valente received at SUNRED Engineering for an event a SUNRED León 1.6T in the World Touring Car Championship ( WTCC).
