Hyōka

Hyōka (Japanese冰 果, dt literally " frozen treat" indirectly " ice cream ") is a mystery novel by Honobu Yonezawa. It is the first volume of the Koten -bu Series ( <古典 部>シリーズ, " Koten -bu " Shirīzu, dt, " Classical literature - club - series" ). Between 2001 and 2010, five volumes were published.

From November 2011 to November 2012 770,000 copies were sold, which it reached # 3 on the best selling light novel series of the year. Until November 2013 were added 160,000 more, which she landed on 29th place.

Anime

The first volume of " Koten -bu " series was adapted from the studio Kyoto Animation and directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto than 22 - episode anime series. The first episode premiered on April 14 at a private event at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku Premiere.

The first biasing titles, Yasashisa no Riyu (優し さ の 理由), was composed by Makoto Miyazaki and sung by the band Choucho. The text is by Saori Kodama. The corresponding closing credits title Madoromi no Yakusoku (まどろみ の 約束), was composed by Kensuke Okamoto and sung with the text written by Saori Kodama by Satomi Satō and Ai Kayano, the seiyū of Eru Chitanda and Makaya Ibara.

The second biasing entitled Mikansei Stride (未完成 ストライド, Mikansei Sutoraido ) was composed by Masato Nakayama and interpreted by Saori Kodama. The second guy under the title Kimi ni Matsuwaru Mystery (君 にまつわる ミステリー, ~ Misuterī ) was, like the first guy, by Satomi Satō and Ai Kayano sung.
