I've Got a Voice

I've Got a Voice is the second album by the Austrian singer Nadine Beiler.

History and music style

Nadine Beiler represented with the ballad " The Secret Is Love" Austria at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2011. Purpose, a full-length album was, according to producer Thomas Rabitsch in " record time ", added. This was published on 13 May 2011, one day before the ESC final. I've Got a Voice contains, in contrast to her first album, exclusively English music after she was not satisfied with their German album. One goal is to open up the German music market and to become internationally known.

On the album Songs of the genres of soul and R & B, as well as ballads and up-tempo pop songs are included. Four of the songs took Beiler already in early 2010 with drummer Thomas Lang in Los Angeles. "You Are the Sun" is a cover of the same song by Hansi Lang.

Reception and chart success

The courier gave the album 3.5 out of 5 stars. The authors Anna Gasteiger and Guido Tartarotti point out the positive side, the album sounded very international and professional. The highlight was the soul song "You Are the Sun". However, there is a lack of originality and the album did nothing personal.
