I Like (Keri Hilson song)

I Like is a song by American singer Keri Hilson, released shortly after ( early ) start of the German comedy Zweiohrküken on December 11, 2009. He is part of a cross- marketing strategy, whose first part was very successful in Germany. The song debuted at number one on the German singles chart.

History

Hilson, who is known in the U.S. primarily as part of some duets with female singers arrivierten was written by the German composer David Jost and Robin Grubert a song at the same time was part of the soundtrack of the German romantic comedy Zweiohrküken. The accompanying video (directed by Aaron Platt) shows the singer as well as excerpts from the film. The song immediately came in the German charts and was rewarded after only one month with a gold record after at least 150,000 singles were sold. The album In a Perfect World ... was released with the title song as the engine and thus achieved a breakthrough in Germany.

Nevertheless, the song in the United States did not achieve the same success. He accompanied on 29 March 2010 in the United Kingdom the theatrical release of Zweiohrküken / Chicken With Two Ears and later the theatrical release in the U.S.. Here, the producers promised that Keri Hilson song conveyed the interest in a comedy from Germany with there unknown actors.
