I Like Trains

I Like Trains (also: iLiKETRAiNS ) is a post-rock band from Leeds.

History

After the reform in June 2006 published EP Progress the first album Elegies to Lessons Learnt in January 2007 when British label Beggar 's Banquet was published. In December 2008, the instrumental EP The Christmas Tree Ship and 25 October 2010 was followed by the second album He Who Saw The Deep. In May 2012, the third album The Shallows was published.

Style

In their songs, the band with tragic historical events sets apart. Some B- sides of single releases resort to other aspects of the particular story.

For example, the song A Rook House for Bobby an artistic interpretation of the life history of the eleventh World Chess Champion Bobby Fischer, which picks up his quote that he would dwell in a chess rook.
