Ian McLagan

Ian McLagan ( born May 12, 1945 in Hounslow, Middlesex, England ) is a British rock musician who was best known as the keyboardist of the band Small Faces and Faces.

Before 1965 he joined the Small Faces, McLagan had played in various bands, including " Boz & the Boz People".

McLagan 1979 brought his debut album Trouble Maker out, followed by Bump in the Night (1980). Since both were not very successful, McLagan henceforth concentrated on his work as a studio and a sideman, including for Jackson Browne, Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, The Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen. From 1997 he was a member of Billy Bragg's backing band The Blokes.

In 2000 McLagans album Best of British appeared under the name Ian "Mac" McLagan & the Bump band. In the same year he published his autobiography, All the Rage.

Ian McLagan married in 1978 Kim Kerrigan, ex-wife from Who drummer Keith Moon. In 1994, the McLagans to Texas (USA). Kim McLagan came in 2006 at the age of 57 years in a car accident in Travis County ( Texas) lost their lives.
