Ian Tomlinson (athlete)

Ian Ross Tomlinson ( born February 27, 1936 in Perth, Western Australia; † January 26, 1995 in Melbourne, Australia) was an Australian, Olympic athlete who specialized in long and triple jump.

Life and career

Tomlinson represented Australia twice at the Olympics and won in 1958 and 1962 respectively, a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. He already died at the age of 58 years.
