Ibad Muhamadu

Ibad Muhamadu ( born February 22, 1982 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player. He is the son of a Ghanaian father and a Surinamese mother. He plays as a striker for usually.


After Muhamadu had moved with his parents to Amsterdam North Holland Hoorn, he joined the local clubs Always Forward and HVV Hollandia with football training. Later he played in the youth of AZ Alkmaar.

His first professional contract was awarded Muhamadu 2001 at FC Twente. In his first season in the Eredivisie, he came to five appearances in the following season to no more. When René Vandereycken took over as coach, Muhamadu was borrowed for the 2003/ 04 season in the second division SC Cambuur - Leeuwarden. After this year, he did not return to Twente, but remained in the second division and signed with MVV Maastricht.
