Ibad Muhamadu
Ibad Muhamadu ( born February 22, 1982 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch football player. He is the son of a Ghanaian father and a Surinamese mother. He plays as a striker for usually.
Career
After Muhamadu had moved with his parents to Amsterdam North Holland Hoorn, he joined the local clubs Always Forward and HVV Hollandia with football training. Later he played in the youth of AZ Alkmaar.
His first professional contract was awarded Muhamadu 2001 at FC Twente. In his first season in the Eredivisie, he came to five appearances in the following season to no more. When René Vandereycken took over as coach, Muhamadu was borrowed for the 2003/ 04 season in the second division SC Cambuur - Leeuwarden. After this year, he did not return to Twente, but remained in the second division and signed with MVV Maastricht. With good performances in Maastricht he recommended for a transfer to the Belgian Erstdivisionär Cercle Brugge. However Muhamadu here could not prevail, and went after only a year back in the second Dutch League for FC Dordrecht. For Dordrecht, he played a total of 48 times in the league, scoring 13 goals.
For the 2008/09 season Muhamadu signed with Willem II Tilburg in the Eredivision. In the second game of Tilburg, he scored in a 3-1 away win against NAC Breda his first goal in the highest Dutch league.
A year later Muhamadu moved to Germany in the 3rd League to Dynamo Dresden. He signed a two-year contract. Muhamadu was already known in Dresden - in the inaugural match of the new west stand of Rudolf Harbig Stadium in August 2008, he scored for the guest Willem II Tilburg, the two goals in the 2-0 victory.
