The Isenberg ball ( not to be confused with the nearby Iberg; approx. 960 m above sea level) is about 1050 m above sea level. NN high northeasterly side top of the mountain Ried Holzer ball ( 1065.6 m above sea level. ) In the north exit of the Allgäu Alps in Baden -Württemberg and Bavaria; its summit is in Württemberg.

Geographical location

The Isenberg ball rises in the south-eastern tip of the district of Ravensburg (Baden- Württemberg), from the eastern district of the Upper Allgäu (both in Bavaria ) separates the western district of Lindau (Bodensee). It is located about 6.5 km southeast of the city Isny. Approximately 2.4 km north- west is Maierhöfen ( district of Lindau ), 1.1 km east Seltmans and 1.3 km east-southeast Sibratshofen (both to Weitnau in the district of Upper Allgäu).

About 150 m north-northwest of the summit is on 1012.7 m above sea level. NN a trigonometric point.

On the Isenberg ball the transmitter is located Isenberg ball can be radiated from which Radio 7 on 105.0 MHz and Radio Marine Radio on 103.9 MHz.
