Idared is a sort of culture apple (Malus domestica).

The Idared was bred in 1935 by the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station ( IAES ), part of the campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow ( Idaho) in the USA. It is available commercially since 1942. The variety is a cross between Jonathan and Wagener.

Tree
