Igor Varitsky
Igor Konstantinovich Warizki (Russian Игор Константинович Варицкий; born April 25, 1971 in Chelyabinsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player and current coach and - functionary.

Career
Igor Warizki began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk, for by 1995 he was active from 1988 in Wysschaja League, the highest Soviet league, as well as in the International Hockey League. The 1995/96 season he started at HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the International Hockey League, but left that after only three games to play for the Kassel Huskies in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In the rest of the season, he joined the DEL - EC competitors in Hanover, where he remained until the end of season. From 1996 to 1998, the attackers took part with his former club HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk on the game mode of the Russian Super League and won with this in the 1997/98 season the Russian Cup competition.
For the season 1998 /99 Warizki joined the HC Vitkovice of the Czech Extraliga. He then played two and a half years for Severstal Cherepovets and a half years for the HK Mechel Chelyabinsk in the Russian Super League. In the 2003 /04 season he stepped up for their league rivals Salavat Yulaev Ufa. This was followed by one year each at his former club HC Traktor Chelyabinsk and HK Mechel Chelyabinsk in the second Russian league, the Wysschaja League, and two years with the also second-rate gambling Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, before he ended his active career at the age of 37 years.
In the 2008 /09 season Warizki worked as an assistant coach for Vityaz Chekhov of the Kontinental Hockey League. In the 2010/11 season, he was General Manager of also playing in the KHL HC Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Internationally
For Russia Warizki participated in the 1993 World Championships, where he won the gold medal with his team. In addition, he was in the squad of his country at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.
