Igors Tarasovs

Igor Tarasov ( born October 16, 1988 in Riga) is a Latvian football player. The midfielder currently plays at PFK Simurq Zaqatala in Azerbaijani Premyer Liqasi, and for the Latvian national football team.

Career

Igor Tarasov played at Skonto Riga up to the age of 19, before he moved to Olimps Riga. With Olimps this came in last place in the first year. At the start of the 2009 season Tarasovs went back to the FC discount. In the 2010 the Virsliga he won the Latvian Championship. In February 2012 Tarasovs signed a contract until the end of the season when PFK Simurq Zaqatala where he trift of his countryman Andrejs Rubins.

For Latvia, Igor Tarasov made ​​his debut in a friendly match against Angola in March 2010 when he came on in the 53th minute for the game 's most capped player Latvian Vitālijs Astafjevs.
