Ikechukwu Kalu

Ikechukwu Kalu ( born April 18, 1984 in Kaduna ) is a Nigerian footballer who is currently without a club. The name Ikechukwu means energy from God.

Career

Kalu began his career at Jasper United in Nigeria. In summer 2002, he signed a contract with Sampdoria. After one season at Sampdoria, the AC Milan secured his transfer rights and gave in after Pro Patria, Pisa Calcio and FC Chiasso. He shot at Chiasso in 48 games a total of 28 goals so far in Sampdoria Kalu bought back. His first Serie A match he made 10 November 2007 against FC Empoli.

In summer 2008, he moved to AC Bellinzona. After, however, only 20 games and one goal, he returned in July 2010 back to FC Chiasso.
