The Ile Saint- Germain is located in the Seine inland island near Paris and belongs to the city of Issy -les -Moulineaux.

The island was until 1980 a military area, then it was divided into two sides, on one side of a 18 -acre regional park was created and the other side was a residence for artists and architects. This part is also allotments.
