In-A- Gadda -Da - Vida is a rock album by the band Iron Butterfly from 1968 and also the most successful of the band, because it contained the eponymous title track - their greatest success. Except for termination all songs by Doug Ingle have been written.

After the first album Heavy left bassist Jerry Penrod, Darryl DeLoach singer and guitarist Danny Weis - he moved to Rhinoceros - the original cast members and have been replaced with this album by Erik Brann on guitar and Lee Dorman on bass.

In-A- Gadda -Da - Vida Deluxe Edition

In 1995, Iron Butterfly released this successful album of her career under the title In-A- Gadda -Da - Vida Deluxe Edition new on CD. The processing was due to the rediscovery of old original recordings. This re-release was supplemented by two bonus tracks ( live and single version of In-A- Gadda -Da - Vida ) and a detailed 36 - page booklet with many rare and previously unpublished photos. The live version was first released on the B - side of the 1970 soundtrack LP Iron Butterfly Live.
