Lee Dorman

Douglas Lee Dorman ( born September 15, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri, † December 21, 2012 in Laguna Niguel, California ) was an American rock bassist. From 1967 he worked in the group Iron Butterfly. With the group, he recorded three studio albums: In-A- Gadda -Da - Vida (1968 ), Ball (1969) and Metamorphosis (1970). Later he played with Captain Beyond. With the group, he also recorded three studio albums: Captain Beyond ( 1972), Sufficiently Breathless (1973) and Dawn Explosion (1977).
