Ina Rama

Ina Rama ( born November 21, 1972 in Durres ) is an Albanian lawyer. Between 2007 and 2012 she was head of the prosecutor's office in Albania.

Life

In 1995 Rama completed her studies at the Law Faculty of the Tirana University and then worked for four years as a side judge at Qark court in her native city of Durres. From 2002 to 2004 she worked as a senior judge at the Court of Qark Lushnja. In 2005, she began her career in the prosecutor's office, where she first held a position as a judge at the Court of Serious Crimes, and was appointed on the proposal of the President Bamir Topi and confirmed by Parliament to the Supreme State Prosecutor in 2007. She is the first woman to be held this function.

In December 2012, their term of office ends with the prosecutor Ina Rama and is detached from Adriatic Llalla.
