Incisa in Val d'Arno

Incisa in Val d' Arno is a district of Figline Valdarno e Incisa with 6373 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Geography

The site covers approximately 27 km ². It is located about 20 km southeast of Florence on the Arno.

Other districts include Burchio, La Fonte, La Massa, Le Valli, Loppiano, Palazzolo, Pian dell'Isola, Poggio alla Croce, San Michele and Santa Maria Maddalena.

The nearby towns are Figline Valdarno, Greve in Chianti, Regello and Rignano sull'Arno.

The district Loppiano is strongly influenced by the Focolare Movement, which in 1964 built their first settlement there.

On 1 January 2014 Incisa founded in Val d' Arno with the neighboring town of Figline Valdarno Figline the new community e Incisa Valdarno.
