Inghirami (crater)

Inghirami is an impact crater on the westernmost edge of the lunar front side, south of the crater Piazzi and west of Schickard. The crater is heavily eroded.

From the north-west edge of the crater, starting runs in a north -westerly direction to the Mare Orientale on the Moon Valley, named after the crater Vallis Inghirami.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian astronomer Giovanni Inghirami.
