Innere Stadt (Graz)

History

The Inner City is the first city district of Graz. It is the part that contains the historic old town with castle hill and city park. It is bounded by the Mur between Radetzky Bridge and Kepler bridge Wickenburggasse, the glacis, Jakominiplatz and Radetzkystraße. In 1999, the downtown area because of their unique preservation of the historic building, part of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Graz - Historic Centre and Schloss Eggenberg.
