Intervision Song Contest

The Inter Vision Song Contest was probably in response to the Euro Vision Song Contest by Intervision, the program exchange network of television stations of the socialist countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Mongolia and Austria and Finland, and took place from 1977 to 1980 instead. The venue was always the Opera Leśna in the Polish Sopot.

The Intervision Song Contest - substituted 1977-1980 the International Sopot Festival, which was held in Sopot since 1961. In 1984 Polish television TVP led the competition again under his old name, the International Sopot Festival, continued.
