Ion Ansotegi

Ion Ansotegui Gorostola ( born July 13, 1982 in Berriatua, Basque Country ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Sociedad.

Playing career

SD Eibar

Ion Ansotegui began his career as a footballer at SD Eibar in his Basque homeland. There he first played in the B team before he was promoted to the 2001/ 02 season in the second division team Eibars. After only a single use throughout the season Ansotegui went from first to third division side FC Barakaldo, after all, where he scored two goals in 17 missions.

Real Sociedad

In summer 2003, Ion Ansotegui went to the B- team of the first division club Real Sociedad, where he was active as a regular player for the next two years. With his performance, the defender could play in the foreground, so that he was brought up to the first team in 2005. Although he has since played regularly for the " Txuri Urdin ," a regular place he could work out, however, never. Even after relegation in the season 2006/ 07 he held his club loyalty.
