Irene Clarin

Irene Clarin ( born May 16, 1955 in Munich) is a German actress.

Life and work

She is the daughter of late on August 28, 2005 actor Hans Clarin and his first wife Irene tab. She received her training at the New Munich Acting School. Her first roles they played in the theater of youth in Munich. From 1977 to 2002, she was part of the ensemble of the Munich Studio Theater. She embodied included Marie in Drums in the Night (1979 ), Rosalie in Cathy of Heilbronn ( 1979), Fortinbras in Hamlet ( 1980), Chekhov's Platonov Grekova in (1981 ), Rosalind in As You Like It (1982 ), Recha in Nathan the Wise (1984 ), Herbert in the premiere of Achternbusch's way (1985 ), daughter of Thomas Bernhard on target (1993 ), Arcadina in the Seagull (1997) and the queen in Shakespeare's Cymbeline (1998). She has worked with renowned directors such as Peter Zadek, Robert Wilson, Ernst Wendt, Dieter Dorn, Christian Stückl or Luc Bondy. In 2006, she played at the Fritz Rémond Theatre in Frankfurt. She is currently touring with productions of theater production a.gon by the German-speaking countries. She has two daughters.

It is not only on stage, but also to see again and again on television. She became famous by appearances in various crime series such as Derrick, The Old Man, Siska and Die Rosenheim - Cops, as well as the television series The Wiesingers for the BR. In the ARD, she played in 1989 and 1990, the Rev. Lenau in the same series. She lives in her hometown of Munich.
