Irene Manning

Irene Manning ( born July 17, 1912 in Cincinnati as Inez Harvourt; † 28 May 2004 San Carlos ) was an American actress.

She gave her film debut in 1936. Great achievements came in 1942 with Yankee Doodle Dandy on the side of James Cagney and the great gangster alongside Humphrey Bogart. In 1955 Manning moved back from acting.

Until 1937 they used the name Hope Manning. Irene Manning was married five times. In the 1990s she worked as a drama teacher. She died in 2004 of heart failure.
