Irina Rodrigues

Irina Cristiana Rodrigues Carreira ( born February 5, 1991, Leiria) is a Portuguese athlete.

Career

Rodrigues trained at Sporting Lisbon. At the Junior World Championships 2008 in Bydgoszcz they first participated in a major international event. With a width of 48.15 meters she missed as Seventh to qualify for the finals. Two years later she was at the Junior World Championships 2010 in Moncton with 52,75 meters fifth.

In 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London, missed having a width of 57.23 meters, the finale but clearly and finally finished 32nd in 2013 she participated in the World Championships 2013 in Moscow and separated with a distance of 57.64 meters from tenth in qualifying.

Your personal best she achieved in May 2012 with 62.91 meters at a sports festival in Halle ( Saale).
