Irisberto Herrera

Irisberto Herrera ( born December 7, 1968) is a Cuban chess player. Since 2007 he plays for the Spanish Chess Federation.

He won the Cuban Individual Championship for Juniors 1986. Was he an International Master in 1989. Cuban 's singles champion in 1996 he became shared with Julio Becerra. In the same year he played for the Cuban national team at the Chess Olympiad. Since 1999, he has the title of chess grandmaster. His current Elo rating is 2444 (as of September 2010).
