Irwin Levine

Irwin Jesse Levine ( born March 23, 1938 in Newark, New Jersey; † January 21, 1997 in Livingston, New Jersey) was an American composer.

Together with L. Russell Brown wrote 1972 Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree. This song has been interpreted by Dawn with Tony Orlando, the USA 's best-selling pop song of the year 1973.
