Isaak Soreau

Isaac Soreau ( baptized on October 17, 1604 in Hanau, † not before 1645) was a German painter of still lifes.

Soreau Isaac and his twin brother Peter were sons of the still life painter Daniel Soreau and his wife Johanna Fleming. The two were students in her father's workshop, which was continued after his death by Sebastian Stoskopff. Isaac Soreau was also inspired by Jacob Huldonck.

In 2010, the Hanau Historical Museum acquired the last saved Soreaus painting from the year 1645. It has the title fruit baskets, fruit bowl, Porzellankumme, carnations and vegetables.
