Isabelle Allen

Isabelle Lucy Allen ( born March 16, 2002 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England) is a British actress.

Life and career

Isabelle Allen is the daughter of Elaine and Nigel Allen.

Allen was discovered by Jeremy James Taylor, director of the British National Youth Music Theatre, which they saw in a school production of the Pied Piper of Hamelin and was immediately impressed by her talent. Her film debut was in 2012 then in the musical Les Misérables film adaptation as the younger version of Amanda Seyfried's character Cosette. For this role she was at the Young Artist Awards in 2013 for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture - awarded decade or younger and received other awards and nominations along with the movie cast. In the West End production of Les Misérables, she appeared until March 2013, also as young Cosette. From July to September 2013, it assumes the role of Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
