Isawa (Yamanashi)

Isawa (Jap.石 和 町, -chō, dt stone harmony) was a Japanese community west of Tokyo in the district Higashiyatsushiro in Yamanashi prefecture.

Geography

Isawa is located at an altitude of 267 meters. In the vicinity of the Fuji is located.

History

Since October 12, 2004 Isawa forms, together with 5 other localities of the city Fuefuki.

Attractions

Isawa is widely known for its hot springs, which are used for spa treatment and through the historic occasion of the games early summer festival held annually ( playing a battle of the 16th century).

Twinning

Since 26 May 1991, there was a flag friendship with Bad Mergentheim in Germany.
