Isolate Records
Isolate Records is a record label for electronic music based in Berkeley, California. It was founded in 1995 by Wai Cheng.
Isolates has a sub-label called Dyslexic Response, which focuses on the music genre Noise. Among the best known acts who published isolates Records include Venetian Snares, Chris Douglas aka OST, Tomoroh Hidari and Fluorescent Grey.
Label founder Wai died in 2006 during a visit to Berlin. He was found dead on the night of December 21 from a friend. The cause of death is not known.
