Ituzaingó is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

Ituzaingó is located on the territory of the department of San José in its sector 2 East of the village runs the Arroyo de la Virgen, which there forms the boundary to Nachbardepartamento Florida Ituzaingó and thus separates from lying across the river 25 de Agosto. A few kilometers north-west distance is Rodriguez, about three kilometers west of Capurro and the same distance south-west of 18 de Julio. Southeast flows of the border to Nachbardepartamento Canelones forming Río Santa Lucía.

Infrastructure

By Ituzaingó leads the Ruta 77 and the railway line Montevideo - San Jose - Colonia.

Population

The population of Ituzaingó is 771 (as of 2011), of which 354 male and 417 female.
