Ivy Queen

Ivy Queen; Martha Ivelisse Pesante actually ( born March 4, 1972 in Añasco, Puerto Rico ) is a reggaeton musician.

Life

Ivy Queen grew up in New York City. Her career began in the Puerto Rican group Noise, in which she also wrote her first hit Somos Raperos Pero No Delincuentes and played.

1997 her solo debut album En Mi Imperio appeared at Sony International Records, it was sold over 100,000 copies.

For their second album, The Original Rude Girl ( 1998) she worked with Wyclef Jean.

Their next album Diva (2003) was produced by the label Real Music. All songs on the album were written by Ivy Queen herself and performed in collaboration with reggaeton artists such as K -7, El Mexicano and Gran Omar producer.

At Ivy Queens 2005 album Real can be heard as guest musicians, among others La India, Noriega, Fat Joe and Swizz Beatz.
